History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
