History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Standing 6'6", this man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Godfrey is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sculptor.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears an entirely black suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Conrad was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
