Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Guy isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Ernest was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shipwright. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
