Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Frederick enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his youth he was a Slave Trader, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
