Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is white and very short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Tim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull white iron scale mail. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dustin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world
