Dean Wallace, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A 5'11" northern man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Dean took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Dean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
