He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Ruler, but he got bored and became a Gardener. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.
