Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
