He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Diggory was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tailor. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
