Description: This slender man stands about 5'3". He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a tight green one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Gerard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
