History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Reynard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Frederick's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, and is pretty ugly. He has silver hair. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Shane was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is greedy

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
