His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and an old rival family wants him found
