History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Crown-heir profession.

History: Arnold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Tim was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and to protect his home
