History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Solomon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Carpenter father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
