He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Ralf was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second son.
