History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. In his youth he was a Stableman, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Drogo grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Drogo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a Butcher first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and a deep hatred of dire rats
