Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Robert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Robert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
