History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Simon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Trey was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
