History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A freak accident while working with his Butcher father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Diggory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Diggory was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Diggory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
