History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Ernest wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Ernest's homeland. Ernest decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Interpreter profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Clerebold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
