He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are violet.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, William would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: William hails from a village terrorized by drow. When William reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to end his boredom
