Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thomas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dean will drive conversation. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has worked as a Detective like his father before him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
