History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
