Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Odo was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
