Description: 5'2" and muscular, this northern man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Roger isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. A true patriot, Roger would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the south to a Soapmaker, Roger learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
