History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Roland was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Kyle lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Kyle was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Kyle was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the north to a Junk Dealer, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
