Description: This dark-skinned male is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 38. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His golden hair is cut short. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Trym lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family

Description: Standing 5'4", this man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
