He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Bernard was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.
