History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Kody abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hugh has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
