His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alex was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
