History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
