Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is cut close to his head. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a kukri, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Hunter.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Hunter responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This tall, slender man wears a green collared shirt and tan pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He has no hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is short and golden. He has green eyes and a grey hat with a blue feather.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
