History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's in love; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Guard. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
