History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dyer for the past few years.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
