History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Arnold was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When William reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
