One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Butcher soon after.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. He has a very tight haircut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He bought a morningstar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
