He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the south to a Seamstress, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
