History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: Gilbert was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants a kiss

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Shipwright father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
