Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his nunchaku, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Kyle abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: He is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He has no hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
