History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is an amazing painter.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and money/treasure

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. He has wavy brown hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Theodoric was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
