History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing his hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.
