He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Shane is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Shane has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his father's many stories. Ernest was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dyer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
