History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Alexandre's homeland. Alexandre decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born in the east. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: This man stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His chestnut hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Gunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When Gunter reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An older man who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is still thick. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Gerald was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
