Personality: Chad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Rogue, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Revenge.
