History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Peter was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sage. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born in the south. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break
