History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His first spouse was a Hunter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
