His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small brown hat.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Chad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to reunite with his old friends
