History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Jocelyn was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jocelyn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Lance began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
