History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Actor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Seamstress, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
