History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Simon reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 31. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Jeweler born in the past three hundred years. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
